Dear Friends of Hillsides Against Hadid: On Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. the Department of City Planning will be holding a public hearing on the proposed Ridgeline Ordinance. In a nutshell, the Ridgeline Ordinance will create a new zoning overlay which will effectively eliminate any building within 50 feet of any targeted ridgeline in Los Angeles County. In other words, approval of this important new zoning will stop builders like Hadid from bulldozing Franklin Canyon Park (and other similar open spaces) to build mega-mansions. Please attend and let your voice be heard.
